The majority of the news in this bumper edition comes from IBC 2007. Other IBC news appeared in our previous edition. In its 40th anniversary year, attendance was up at 46,964 with visitors coming from more than 120 countries. While mobile TV and IPTV were again hot topics, IBC 2007 also showcased the growing and diverse application of digital signage. That said there was still plenty of news in the production and post areas, with developments in tapeless acquisition, file-based workflows and interoperability.
