This month sees much preview information about what will be shown at the fast approaching NAB 2007 Convention. If you're interested in interoperability, the Advanced Media Workflow Association (AMWA) - previously the AAF Association - is sponsoring the first public demonstration of the MXF Mastering Format Project at the Renaissance Hotel, next to the LVCC.

We are also in the process of spring-cleaning The NLE Buyers Guide. All types of nonlinear video editing and recording systems qualify, including turnkey systems, video card and/or software packages, video disk recorders and multichannel servers for editing, edit controllers and host platforms. If you manufacture such a product, please complete the online form as soon as possible.
