The news in this bumper issue is all about what was on display at NAB 2010. For information released prior to the event, please see our March and February preview editions. While 3D products and technologies stole the headlines, the fact that NAB announced an increase in registered attendees giving a total of 88,044, and a generally more positive outlook, is the most important trend for the industry as a whole. For many though, the 2010 event will be remembered for the difficulty in getting home due to eruptions from the Eyjafjallajökull volcano. As you might expect from a media savvy lot, attendees stuck in the U.S. were quick to use social networking sites to help each other out, and the ever-ready guys at Quantel set-up a temporary office at the MGM Grand Hotel!
