Fujinon's New HA25x16.5BERD HD ENG-Style Lens Offers HD Image Quality In A Compact Package (23/9/2004)

The new HA25x16.5BERD offers high image quality in a compact package. The new lightweight HD Lens has been designed especially for airborne and remote photography. With Fujinon's new HA25x16.5BERD HD ENG-Style lens, documentary film makers can now capture previously unreachable, remote images in pristine high definition resolution.

To be introduced during IBC 2004, (Fujinon Booth #11.310) the new lens adds to the company's already formidable product line of HD ENG lenses.

Weighing a mere 2,9 kg, thus requiring no additional support, the new HA25x16.5BERD is a compact telephoto lens ideally suited for gyro stabilized platforms in aircraft, wildlife photography in remote areas and HD surveillance applications, where light weight and unobtrusive appearance are critical.

With a maximum focal length of 826 mm (2x), reduced focus breathing, an F-stop range of 2.8 to 4.0 and Fujinon's exclusive DigiPower servo system for fast and accurate zooming, the HA25x16.5BERD is the perfect complement for remote-control system and location documentary work. It also provides widescreen 16:9 or traditional 4:3 production capability under the harshest of conditions.

Standard features on the HA25x16.5BERD include Fujinon's Digi Power zoom and focus servo, 2x range extender, direct RS232 control and diagnostics. Optional features include: the TS-P41A optical stabilizer, servo controlled range extender, and the complete line of Fujinon remote control accessories.

The HA25x16.5BERD is designed to complement 2/3-inch high definition video cameras.
