Collaborative Development Effort Between Adobe and CineForm Ensures Best HD Workflow Experience for Customers

CineForm, Inc. today is announcing that version 3.0 of its award-winning Aspect HD(TM) software, which supports the recently-announced Adobe(R) Premiere(R) Pro HDV plug-in, will be shipping next week. Adobe previously licensed portions of CineForm Intermediate(TM) software technologies that integrate HDV-resolution editing support within Adobe Premiere Pro for users of the expanding class of HDV camcorders. Once installed with the Adobe Premiere Pro HDV plug-in, Aspect HD v3.0 triples the timeline editing performance of Adobe Premiere Pro -- with no rendering -- offering up to 4 simultaneous 1440x1080i streams on a modern Windows desktop PC, plus adds numerous features to improve user workflow efficiency.

Aspect HD v3.0 supports important new features of Adobe Premiere Pro HDV plug-in including capturing and exporting HDV material using the standard Premiere Pro capture and export interfaces. In addition to its extraordinary real-time HD editing performance, Aspect HD v3.0 adds Cut/Paste support between Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects(R) timelines, higher-performance video capture enabled by its hyper-threading extensions, increased dynamic range for "superwhite" and "superblack" processing, 40+ real-time transitions and effects, and a separate I/O utility called HDLink(TM) which adds user flexibility when importing, exporting, or converting HDV material.

Aspect HD v3.0 will be available for purchase from our expanding network of resellers or from CineForm's website www.cineform.com next week for $499. A bundle with Aspect HD v3.0 that also includes Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5, Adobe Audition(TM), and Adobe Encore(R) DVD is priced at $799. CineForm offers a fully-functional 15-day trial version of Aspect HD v3.0 on its website for all users to experiment without obligation. Existing CineForm customers may upgrade to v3.0 without charge.
