Digital Vision's Nucoda Product Line Demonstrates Real-Time 4k at NAB2005 (14/4/2005)

Digital Vision has revealed that its Nucoda Digital Intermediate ("DI") software is now working with 4K files in real-time. The software requires only a single workstation using a standard NTFS file system and SMPTE DPX format frames. The working, real-time system will be demonstrated in the Ciprico Inc. booth SL3628 at the National Association of Broadcasters trade show in Las Vegas Nevada - April 18-21.

This unique, real-time capability allows facilities to offer a full range of 2K and 4K DI services using an inexpensive, off-the-shelf platform. This is a breakthrough in terms of being able to offer such services profitably and with reduced capital investment.

Nucoda software is a product line of Digital Vision. Data storage for this real-time 4K configuration is provided by Ciprico Inc. (CPCI).
