Sonic Studio Set to Launch, Demo and Preview New Professional Solutions (19/5/2005)

The Audio Engineering Society will be holding their 118th Convention in Barcelona, Spain, at the end of May. Participation by Sonic Studio, LLC in the concourse will provide an opportunity for the organization to launch new products, demonstrate upcoming offerings, and provide a glimpse at future technologies of note.

Two new products that have excited Hollywood's largest record labels and Sonic's beta sites will be rolled out in May. The first is the upgraded version 2 of SonicStudio*DDP, Sonic Studio's unique Mac OS utility for streamlined incorporation of DDP technology in a studio's workflow. In conjunction with the debut of version 2, Sonic will debut the first option for their OS X premastering line, a new version of the industry standard Manual DeClick component of their nonpareil NoNOISE restoration suite.

On the release horizon, Sonic Studio will be demonstrating preŠ release versions of their much anticipated soundBlade*CD application for CD prep. soundBlade*CD is the first premastering application for Mac OS to come to market in over a decade and anticipation in the pro audio community is high. Also being demonstrated will be more additions to NoNOISE V2, including an updated high definition, multichannel incarnation of Sonic Studio's ground breaking Broadband DeNoiser first shown during the 117th AES Convention in San Francisco.

Future tech at the Sonic Studio booth will illustrate the ongoing commitment to following the development roadmap set out by company executives. New, multichannel production hardware and software will share the stage along with experimental software modules for restoration and workflow improvement.

A quick look at these show features are:

* the release of SonicStudio*DDP 2.0
* the release of Manual DeClick 2.0
* the announcement of soundBlade*CD 1.0
* the announcement of Broadband DeNoise 2.0
* technology demonstrations of upcoming hardware and software

Sonic Studio will also be issuing a significant announcement for select pro audio manufacturers, SACD producers and all engineers engaged in DSD production.
