Doremi Technologies Introduces MCS-HD Server and More at IBC (3/8/2005)

NEW at IBC:

BROADCAST

MCS-HD joins a long list of existing broadcast servers and players from Doremi. It is a 2-record, 2-play multichannel multipurpose SD/HD server designed for broadcast and live/events markets. Housed in just 3RU, the front panel includes a 5-inch video monitor and basic operational controls. Adding a Hi Tech Systems actiV Sports controller makes live operations, including smooth accurate slow motion easy and quick.

D and E-CINEMA

Just one year on from Doremi's D-Cinema presentation at IBC2004, it now has several products for the market and has risen to be an industry leader. DCP-2000 is a DCI Digital Cinema Server for mainstream DCI-compliant movies and is already shipping to US clients. It packs storage, a JPEG2000 codec and a large number of features designed to meet the needs of D-Cinema now and for years to come, into just 3RU. It plays up to 4K-sized movies at up to 250Mbit/sec making possible visually lossless reproduction. There is also a 3D playback mode.

Dolphin Station is the first available DCI 5.2 compliant high quality real-time JPEG2000 encoding and mastering suite. Besides processing the video and audio, all the necessary encryption and keys are generated.
