News Digital Rapids launches CarbonHD at IBC 2005 (10/8/2005) Digital Rapids will be demonstrating unparalleled speed, security and quality for professional video ingest, playout and delivery over networks. Showing for the first time will be CarbonHD DDR for professional multi-format HD/SD video encoding and playout with integrated software to manage ingest, trimming and playout of clips; Also demonstrated will be StreamZHD, multi-format HD/SD video encoding featuring support for capture to AVI, WM9 and MPEG2, transcoding to multiple formats, and an option for WM9 acceleration; StreamZ, SD video encoding with simultaneous output to multiple formats, transcoding to multiple formats; StreamZ-CP for sophisticated forensic watermarking technology from Philips; Copper for wirespeed, secure delivery of media with tuneable rate control and bandwidth scheduling.
