Fairlight Rewards Customers with Trade-In Offer Through End of Year, Upgrade to Constellation-XT (15/11/2005)

Always the sound investment, Fairlight gives existing FAME and Prodigy owners a remarkable trade-in offer when upgrading to Constellation-XT through 2005 only.

Underscoring the lasting value and functionality of the industry's leading editing and mixing platform, Fairlight announced a trade-in program for FAME and Prodigy users through December 31, 2005. The program allows owners of FAME 1&2 and Prodigy 1&2 systems to trade their exiting system up to the DREAM Constellation-XT platform at preferential pricing.

"To perpetuate that value we are offering them a seamless transition to the Constellation-XT platform so they can benefit from the most evolved system Fairlight has ever produced. Our trade-in offer is just like getting a cash-back reward for a purchase decision made almost 10 years ago. We can't think of any other professional audio manufacturer, or computer manufacturer for that matter, that provides such a compelling financial reason to update and move with the times."

The Constellation-XT provides a host of tools and functionality not available in the previous generation of systems and FAME/Prodigy owners will also have comfort in knowing that their files and automation data is fully compatible with the new Constellation system. This means that mixes done on a 1996 vintage FAME will be faithfully recalled and reproduced on the new system. In addition the QDC will playback any files created on an MFX engine as used on a FAME 1 system.

On larger systems, the trade-in offer may provide savings of up to $80,000 USD from the list price of a new Constellation-XT system. To take advantage of the trade-in bonus, FAME and Prodigy customers need to contact authorized Fairlight Business Partners or Delivery Partners, specify a Constellation-XT system and place a firm order with a small holding deposit prior to December 31st 2005.
