Digidesign Brings Back Popular Hardware Exchange Programs (17/5/2006)

ExchangePack Plug-in Offer Extended Through May 22; Special Pricing on ProControl to ICON D-Control Exchanges Available Through June 16 L

Digidesign is bringing back its popular ExchangePack plug-in offer one last time, allowing customers to exchange legacy Pro Tools(r) hardware for Pro Tools|HD(r) systems at the lowest prices ever, while getting up to $14,600 in free plug-ins. This special offer is available through May 22 and will not be extended. Digidesign is also announcing an exchange program for ProControl(r) owners interested in moving up to an ICON D-Control(tm) worksurface. Customers can take advantage of up to $19,000 in trade-in value if they act before June 16.

HD Exchange Program-ExchangePack Plug-in Offer Extended

When customers exchange their Digidesign(r) Pro Tools|24 MIX(tm) system or another legacy Pro Tools system up to a Pro Tools|HD 2 Accel or Pro Tools|HD 3 Accel system before May 22, they will receive the lowest exchange prices and be able to select additional ExchangePack plug-ins valued at up to $14,600-for free. Pro Tools customers who didn't have the opportunity to take advantage of the ExchangePack plug-in promotion before it ended in March now have one last chance.

Customers who exchange up to Pro Tools|HD 3 Accel can choose up to 10 ExchangePack plug-ins from a large selection; those who make the switch to Pro Tools|HD 2 Accel can pick up to 5 ExchangePack plug-ins. In addition to the ExchangePack plug-ins, customers are also entitled to Pro Tools HD 7 software, HDpack plug-ins, and Pro Tools Ignition Pack(tm) collection of creative tools, all of which are included with every new Pro Tools|HD system. This astounding collection of plug-ins, valued at $14,600, is available when customers exchange up to a Pro Tools|HD 3 Accel system.

Hardware Exchange prices have never been lower, and they will increase on May 23. Customers who exchange their systems now can still save $2,500 by exchanging up to a Pro Tools|HD 2 Accel or Pro Tools|HD 3 Accel system for PCI or PCIe. They can save $2,000 by exchanging up to Pro Tools|HD 1. This offer will not be extended.

An iLok USB Smart Key (included with the HDpack that ships with all Pro Tools|HD systems) and an email address is required for plug-in authorization of ExchangePack plug-ins.

ProControl to ICON D-Control Exchange

Trade-in values for ProControl and its expansion options have never been higher. Customers who act before June 16 will get up to $19,000 in trade-in value for their ProControl setup when they exchange it for an ICON D-Control configuration.

Digidesign is also introducing several new exchange options so customers can maximize their initial investment in Digidesign equipment when making the move from ProControl to an ICON system. Several D-Control exchange options now include a Surround Panner, providing an easy way to integrate hands-on control of surround panning or manipulation of plug-in parameters from the joysticks or touch screen.
