Quantel is showing its full generationQ product range at IBC, with efficient, creative and profitable systems for the DI, Color Correction, Post, Graphics and Broadcast businesses. There will also be major new product releases and enhancements to existing systems across the entire product range, some of which are previewed below, and further innovations will be revealed at the show itself.

IBC sees the European launch of Newsbox HD ­ Quantel¹s complete news system in a box, now in a full blown HD configuration. With prices starting at just ¤200K for a complete system, Newsbox HD opens up the world of high resolution news and sports production to every broadcast budget.

Newsbox HD has everything the broadcaster needs to produce highest quality results with the shortest flight time to air in the business ­ all in a package that¹s ready to go within hours of unpacking. Quantel¹s highly successful iQ, eQ and Pablo products have been busy helping their owners build business in post and DI all around the world. At IBC the post range is powering up in several big new ways:

Brand new Pablo HD and Revolver

At IBC Quantel is introducing a new, highly affordable entry level non-linear color correction system with all the features of the award-winning 2K and 4K Pablo systems. Pablo HD is designed to make high resolution color correction a creative and profitable proposition for every form of mainstream post production.

Revolver

At IBC we are also introducing Revolver ­ a fantastic new weapon in the colorist¹s armoury. Revolver is a great new way of manipulating colors quickly, accurately and intuitively. It works directly in the image eliminating the need for time consuming keying and making it much easier to achieve a natural color corrected look. Revolver is standard on all models throughout the Pablo range ­ a new killer app from Quantel - and a must-see for all colorists visiting the show!

Brand new V3.6 software

The full iQ, eQ and Pablo range will also be on show with the all-new V3.6 software package, which includes many new features, facilities and enhancements across the systems¹ editing, effects, color correction and workflow tools. Just a few examples ­ history archive; multi-resolution commit; cascade input selection in color; hsl fettle; segment-based pan and scan; batch network i/o; audio fit to fill; painting without swiping ­ and many, many more.
