Digidesign Exhibits Complete Audio Post and Broadcast Solution at IBC2006 (17/8/2006)

Digidesign is to present its range of audio solutions for the broadcast, post-production and film markets at IBC2006. Customers will be able to walk through a complete audio post-production solution, from initial picture export to final mix, highlighting the new, more streamlined integration with Avid systems.

Starting with an Avid Media Composer(r) editing system, Digidesign will show the latest Avid releases that significantly improve the export of video work into Pro Tools|HD(r) systems for audio finishing. Visitors can witness the smooth interoperability between systems, whether in an adjoining audio suite, or on the other side of the globe and receiving media by DigiDelivery. Next, visitors can see the transition from the edit stage into the early mix stage, as Digidesign highlights the ICON D-Command(tm) console. Perfect for smaller facilities or pre-mix suites, the tactile D-Command worksurface works in conjunction with the Pro Tools|HD mix engine and powerful new automation feature set included with Pro Tools HD 7.2. Finally, Digidesign's Specialists will show how the work across multiple systems can be combined in the final mixing stage, using the large format ICON D-Control(tm) console. Combining flexibility and expandability with an unrivalled feature set, the visitor will be able to experience why so many of today's leading mix engineers are choosing D-Control for their work.
