Panasonic Announces AJ-HPX2100 Shoulder Mounted, Multi-Format 2/3" P2 HD Camcorder (11/9/2006)

Panasonic is proud to announce its first shoulder mounted, multi-format 2/3" P2 HD Camcorder, the AJ-HPX2100.

Continuing with the message ÔCapture, Connect, Edit, Everywhere' this universal product follows Panasonics principal of giving production companies and broadcasters the ability to do away with worldwide format boundaries. The HPX2100 is a truly global product.

With growing support from broadcasters for IT based production tools and the successful launch of the AG-HVX200 P2minicam, this full sized, highly specified camcorder is set to give producers the opportunity to take HD and P2 production to a new level.

Launched at NAB this year, the HPX2100 camcorder has already generated an enormous amount of interest from national and local broadcasters.
