EDIROL's latest video converters offer the ultimate in signal routing technology with DVI to HD component or SDI coding plus USB audio input and Audio Delay

EDIROL's dominance in the field of video production technology has just been strengthened with the announcement of two new DVI converters, the DVI-200HD and DVI-300HD. The two units offer extraordinary flexibility for routing and converting video signals, supporting two-way conversion of a video signal from several DVI formats to various output formats. These include 1080p component (from SD PAL or NTSC all the way up to 1080p) and DVI as well as RGB formats from VGA to UXGA. Both models also feature in/out sync terminals allowing GEN lock with external devices. In addition, the DV-300HD model offers SDI output at formats from 1080i down to 480i rates, with the ability to embed the audio stream.

The units also feature USB Audio input to AES/EBU/Analogue out with Audio Delay so any latency in the video signal can easily be accounted for with millisecond or frame increments.

The DVI-200HD and 300HD models work especially well with the new EDIROL PR-1000HD Multi-Format HD/RGB Video Presenter, allowing the PR's DVI output of video playback to be converted to alternative output formats such as Component HD and HD-SDI.
