The Omega HD uses standard SATA drives and accepts FFV's next-generation Xi and NDT 200 recordings, and it offers accurate frame control via RS 422 or Gigabit Ethernet using standard control protocols. DigiDeck (16:9) The DigiDeck now provides broadcast-quality digital video with 16:9 aspect ratio in either single- or dual-channel configurations, with a variety of features that can be custom ordered to meet the demands of individual applications, including: * Fixed or hot swappable IDE drives * Serial Digital Interface (SDI) I/O * Instant cueing, clip recall * SMPTE/EBU Time Code * Full variable speed playback controls * Discrete access to every frame The DigiDeck features an intuitive front panel touch screen that provides access to record and playback settings including user selectable compression (from 4:1 to 20:1), speed of play, and playlist management.
