EDIROL releases the EDIROL R-09HR high-resolution field recorder (31/3/2008)

EDIROL release the R-09HR, a new and improved version of the award-winning R-09 field recorder. Frankfurt Germany, March 2008 - EDIROL proudly announce the R-09HR, a professional, high-definition recorder that travels light and performs like a heavyweight. With crystal-clear 24/96 fidelity, the R-09HR is the new flagship of EDIROL's award-winning R-series recorders, building on the tradition of high-performance portable recorders.

When recording with the R-09HR, there's no extra gear to buy or cables to connect. In addition to newly developed Isolated Adaptive Recording Circuit (I.A.R.C.), a pro-quality stereo microphone is built into the unit, complete with a dedicated analogue input control, low-cut filter, limiter/AGC (Auto Gain Control), and gain boost. The onboard electret condenser microphone elements are compact, ultra-sensitive, and placed to capture three-dimensional sound naturally and accurately.

Small enough to fit in a shirt pocket, the R-09HR has a new tactile feel that is easy to grip. It also has a user-friendly OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) graphic display for easy operation. The large display provides a wide view with easy-to-see level meters, peak indicators, and additional recording information onscreen.

A built-in preview speaker allows instant playback of the recorded sounds - no headphones required. And with the included wireless remote controller, transport functions can be accessed from a distance. The R-09 can connect to computers via USB for importing/exporting audio files, supporting Hi-Speed USB 2.0 mass storage, so file transfers are quick and convenient.

Included with the R-09HR is Cakewalk's Pyro Audio Creator LE software - a perfect companion for WAV/MP3 audio file editing. With Pyro, the R-09HR package becomes a complete recording solution suite, from recording to CD-burning.

A wide variety of optional accessories are available for the R-09HR, including: Cover/Stand Set (OP-R09HR-C), Silicone Rubber Case (OP-R09HR-S), Carrying Pouch (OP-R09HR-P), Microphone Stand Adaptor (OP-R09M), Stereo Microphone (CS-15), Carrying Case (CB-R09S), Roland Stereo Headphones (RH-300), and Roland In-Ear Headphones (RH-iE3).
