EVS Announces Integration of its XT[2]-LSM with Digital Video Sud Superloupe HD Ultra-Slow Motion System (27/4/2009)

EVS Broadcast Equipment, the leader in instant tapeless technology, and Digital Video Sud (DVS), the European specialist in slow motion services, announce full integration between the XT[2]-LSM and the 2 DVS ultra-slow motion systems : ARRI Media Hi-Motion HD and Superloupe HD. DVS engineers and EVS R&D combined their expertise to develop a perfect control interface for the two leading solutions in terms of Ultra Slow Motion. In addition, Digital Video Sud confirmed the acquisition of 4 new SD/HD XT[2] production servers, which extends its fleet of Live Slow Motion production systems to 14 Full Open SD/HD .

With the release of its upcoming XT[2] Multicam 10 software upgrade (available in May 2009), EVS XT[2] LSM HD system will offer full live slow motion replays on the new Ultra High-Speed Superloupe system. Digital Video Sud, the specialist in live slow motion services is offering full rental services on the Superloupe HD system. This new integration with the Superloupe HD system will allow EVS LSM operators to manage up to 1000 frames/second of live slow motion replays, including clipping management, directly from their EVS XT[2]-LSM remote controller.

The new XT[2]-LSM control of the Superloupe HD ultra high-speed system includes:

Cue and Search using the "Mark" and "Last Cue" keys
Record and Play using the recording and playback in the Superloupe HD and the Hi-Motion HD systems
Greatly improved Jog and Search using the EVS Jog Dial
Utilisation of the T Bar for both high-speed search as well as off-speed playback
While playing on the Superloupe HD and the Hi-Motion HD systems the ability to mark In & Out points and save the clip in the XT[2], even without controlling a player
Accessible key to switch between the Superloupe HD and the Hi-Motion HD systems control on the PGM
Direct and easy control of Block Recording and Playback in the Superloupe HD and the Hi-Motion HD systems with Cam keys A-D corresponding to Blocks 1-4
Digital Video Sud, the Live Slow Motion Specialist, is present at all major international sporting events including the Olympic Games, the World Cup, F1 Grand Prix, UEFA Champions League, the French Open, and more. The French company, which already operates ten XT2-LSM systems decided to expand its fleet with four new SD/HD XT[2]-LSM servers to confirm its status as a leading Live Slow Motion service provider in Europe.
